We chose this beautiful place for our stay during Ironman Klagenfurt. We wanted somewhere relaxing but not too far from the race venue and this was perfect. I cannot describe how beautiful the scenery is and our suite at villa stern had a beautiful balcony and private terrace area to enjoy nature at its best. The whole of villa stern looks newly refurbished with a mix of modern and traditional furniture, The bathroom is a good size with lovely walk in shower, the water pressure was great and never short of hot water.. we had a separate lounge area to the bedroom. Both the lounge and bedroom opened out onto the balcony all with direct views to the pool and amazing forests. It is absolutely peaceful. Every morning breakfast is served from 8-10am, but on race day they prepared it for us for 4 am. The hosts are a couple and they are fantastic. They are so accommodating and will do anything to help make your stay comfortable. The breakfast was everything from hot cooked breakfast, to cheese and cold cuts, to cereals, yoghurts, fruits, croissants and regional delicacies, as well as a great coffee machine and a mix of teas and fruit juices. I cannot fault the cleanliness it was immaculate and they change the linens whenever you wanted and organised the room cleaning when you wanted too. The hosts also provide trips to venice which is just 2.5 hours away or if you go in winter they can take you just 30 mins down the road to a ski resort. The Villa Stern also has some bikes if you want to take them out for a ride. There is a cycle track just a couple of hundred metres down the road so it's really convenient. Viktring is just 10km down the road and there you can find shops and restaurants, but you will soon come to know that the villages surrounding lake klagenfurt are full of places to visit and dine. We had a fantastic time and are coming back next year for sure.

Pension Auszeit Velden ligger i Velden am Wörther See, 18 minutters gang fra Strandbad Velden, og har gratis cykler, en have og et fælles opholdsområde samt gratis privat parkering. We only spent a night here for a road trip. But we can tell that the room was great, the bed was very comfortable. The communication and the staff were exceptional, and we also had a delicious breakfast. You can feel that this place has a heart who is the owner. Thank you for that, because it was a pleasure to be part of this welcoming hospitality. Parking was obvious and easy, also the self check in.

Enjoyit Rooms byder på grill og pooludsigt og ligger i Velden am Wörthersee, 400 m fra Velden Kasino. Der tilbydes gratis privat parkering samt gratis wi-fi på stedet. Very helpful and nice staff, nothing was a problem. Ideal location - near the station, city centre and the beach.

Happy Lake by Thomas Strugger ligger i Krumpendorf am Wörthersee, 6 minutters gang fra Parkbad Krumpendorf Strand, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. Meget fint og hyggeligt sted tæt på søen og spisesteder,i gåafstand. Værten Thomas var rigtig rigtig flink og meget i møde komende,han gav sig tid til at snakke med alle gæsterne til morgen maden. Vi kommer igen.

Gästehaus Wrann ligger i centrum af Velden am Wörthersee, 70 meter fra Wörther-søen, og tilbyder værelser med eget badeværelse, privat strand ved bredden af søen samt daglig morgenmad.

Haus Luca Seeblick ligger i Pörtschach am Wörthersee, 5,5 km fra Hornstein slot, og har en sæsonåben udendørs swimmingpool, en have og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. The welcome you get at Haus Luca is exceptional and the location is great.

Gästehaus Gertrude ligger i Velden am Wörther See, 7 minutters gang fra Strandbad Velden og 14 km fra Waldseilpark - Taborhöhe. Her er en have og gratis privat parkering samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Apartment clean and confortable. Bereakfast was great! Nearby the center.

Hotel Garni Frühstückspension Neff har en fredelig beliggenhed ved siden af skoven og byder på stor have med solterrasse samt værelser med balkon og udsigt over Wörthersee. Very clean hotel with great view to the lake and the mountains. The staff was very nice and friendly. Breakfast was very good with fair variety of choices, even plant based milk and butter.

Dette familiedrevne hotel har en idyllisk beliggenhed direkte ved søen Trattnigteich og tilbyder restaurant og terrasse med udsigt over søen. The hotel has a very peaceful and beautiful lake. You can enjoy it fully. And the staff of the hotel are very kind. Especially the food that is only served to the guests is wonderful. We will visit there next time.

Haus Kaiser ligger i Schiefling am See, 15 km fra Viktring Kloster, og har en sæsonåben udendørs swimmingpool, en have og grillfaciliteter samt gratis privat parkering. Everything was amazing. The location is very convenient to explore the different areas around by car or motorbike. The room had everything we needed, the view is beautiful and the shared big garden with the pool is really enjoyable. Special mention to the hosts who are super super nice, kind and friendly. We didn't want to leave! but for sure will be back to spend more days in the house :)
