Everything was super clean and well organised. We really appreciated the continential breakfast that was provided. The best part was being able to take my little dog for the weekend Our communication with the host was very quick and efficient. We didn't meet her and were able to let ourselves in with the lockbox which was convenient. We were also able to arrange an early check in which was super helpful. The accomodation is very quiet and peaceful and a quick drive to the main street of Blackheath. A great spot for exploring the Blue Mountains and really good value It was very windy when we were up for the weekend so we didn't sit outside but it would be lovely sitting out side in the garden on a sunny day.

We had a fantastic weekend at Closeburn House. Steve and Paul were so friendly and welcoming. The property is gorgeous and they have done a wonderful job at renovating, stylish, fresh and very cosy. The breakfast was exceptional and a real highlight. A superb two course breakfast with homemade relishes and banana bread, perfectly cooked eggs too. I would highly recommend Closeburn House for a quiet weekend, it’s a 10 minute drive to Blackheath which has some great restaurants, bars and pubs. Many fantastic walks close by too. Such a wonderful place, will definitely be back!

This stay really exceeded my expectations. The host clearly takes great care with every detail to keep this B&B running perfectly. The collection of art and historical items throughout the house gives it a truly unique character, and from the moment you arrive you feel warmly welcomed into David’s home. The atmosphere is amazing – cosy, thoughtful, and full of charm – and the music playing in the background makes it even more special. One of the highlights was watching the beautiful King Parrots being fed right outside the dining room window. It was an unforgettable experience. A wonderful place that I highly recommend.
