As others have mentioned, the best thing about staying here is the incredible kindness and generosity of the hosts. Deena and Ivan go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable and that you are taken care of as well as possible. If you need to leave early in the morning, they will take the trouble to have some breakfast stuff kept out for you. If you need to get some laundry done, they will kindly take care of it. They are full of suggestions for ways to spend your time in Toronto. The house itself is very nice and in a lovely, quiet residential location, with excellent public transport connections and plenty within walking distance as well, including a couple of supermarkets and an excellent independent coffee shop (Contra Café). The room was very nice and well-furnished on the whole. Everything is very clean and tidy. Breakfast is simple but excellent.

Downtown Luxury Victorian Retreat is located in Toronto, 800 metres from Ryerson University. Every room at this guest house is air conditioned and is fitted with a flat-screen TV. Love the owner of the house, Ms. Dana. Very hospitable and pleasant. The property itself is a classic victorian on the outside but very modern inside. The room is very large and spacious. Love the big screen TV.

It was easy to get on the local bus and then train into the city. The owner Vivian is very friendly. Local shops arre close by with a lovely cafe with great coffee and waffles.
