Open space for sitting area was so welcoming with the fire. The outside deck was great to see the whales. The fire pit was a fabulous time out. Breakfast was a great variety of food to choose from. The Lobster Dinner is a must. The hosts are absolute genuine humans, very kind and helpful. Always there to help. We loved our stay.

It was an old manor that has been upgraded in a special way because you still could see it 70 years ago. The owners were so amazing and friendly and very accommodating.

Not only does he run the Harbourside Inn, but he is also an outstanding chef! He contacted us a few days before arrival to offer a dinner option since there would not be many other choices open at our arrival. We ordered the fish n chips dinner and it was delicious. What a welcome to our first time in Newfoundland. The breakfast was also super - and he offered a few different breakfast options, which is always a plus. The house is historical and it has been beautifully restored. Our room was clean and spacious, the bed was really comfortable, and the shower had great pressure and water temperature. We only stayed one night, but it was a perfect stop on our holiday. Brad grew up in the area and is very knowledgable about it. Thank you so much!

The property was beautifully appointed with everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were friendly and helped us sort out an issue with our hire car. The area was quiet and the garden was perfect for a relaxing start to our holiday.

We’ve stayed in other historic properties, but this is a whole new level. It’s furnished with well curated antiques and curios, an amazing collection. Despite the museum quality collections, the house still felt comfy and welcoming.

Great location for when you're visiting L'Anse aux Meadows. The room was cozy, but had 2 chairs, which is really important to us as readers. Also a fan, to run at night. Breakfast was served at a big table in the gathering area that had lots of comfy seating and great views. (Nice fluffy pancakes!) We slept very well. A very nice stay!
