As others have mentioned, the best thing about staying here is the incredible kindness and generosity of the hosts. Deena and Ivan go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable and that you are taken care of as well as possible. If you need to leave early in the morning, they will take the trouble to have some breakfast stuff kept out for you. If you need to get some laundry done, they will kindly take care of it. They are full of suggestions for ways to spend your time in Toronto. The house itself is very nice and in a lovely, quiet residential location, with excellent public transport connections and plenty within walking distance as well, including a couple of supermarkets and an excellent independent coffee shop (Contra Café). The room was very nice and well-furnished on the whole. Everything is very clean and tidy. Breakfast is simple but excellent.

A beautiful guest house in a great location with an easy walk (4 or so blocks ) to the main street and only a 5 minute walk to the lake’s edge. Our accommodation suite ( bedroom with two large built-in robes, bathroom with bath shower, and separate sitting/tv area) was spacious and very comfortable. The downstairs sitting room was also available for guest use. Bonnie and Tony, our hosts, were extremely welcoming and the cooked breakfast was fabulous.

It felt like an a Tuscan village, even the grounds, the property in the back was absolutely beautiful. Enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine under the stars. So quiet, so serene. The bedroom was absolutely lovely. The balconies really gave it an Italian feel. The breakfast and munchies were absolutely delicious. I’m convinced they flew in the cornetti straight from Italy! The mattress was heaven! Love the easy, keyless check in.
