Offering a sun terrace and views of the pool, Gîte du Haut des Arbres is set in the Chicoutimi district in Saguenay. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. Some units include views of the river or... Incredibly beautiful property, very quiet and nice view on the lake. The kitchen has everything we needed for cooking, breakfast on the terrace is just great. The city of Saguenay ist approx. 10-15 min. away by car with lots of restaurants and supermarkets. This place is a huge recommondation for all travellers.

It was the most beautiful location in a charming century home occupied by the same family for generations. Ste. Rose du Nord is a most stunning location and one can enjoy the view from the verandah. The nearby Rose Cafe provided a lovely dinner and is also a welcoming and vibrant place with great staff. Frederic was a most congenial host who served a delicious breakfast. We would definitely return!

I'm not a dog lover but was attracted by the price, location and great reviews. Incredible place. Very clean for starters - no dog hairs, e.g., on the inside, which I had been a bit worried about. And to my surprise I really loved THESE dogs - magnificent, strong animals but also well-behaved and gentle. They're obviously well-trained and well-treated. I almost didn't go on the morning walk, and that would have been a big mistake - it turned out (like for many people!) to be a highlight of my trip. I'd love to go back in the winter for the sledding. Also, as all reviewers rightly note, the owners are very friendly.

Although the property was away from the nearby town, it was located in a wooded area where the owner had made several walking tracks that we enjoyed. The room was fine with good views out over the garden area and also had a nice terrace.

The breakfast was super tasty using local products and recommendations where to dine in Alma were just what we had in mind We highly recommend Almatoit and would definitely stay again stay again

Going above and beyond for his guests. Including getting up early in the morning to drop me off at the bus station. Awesome homemade breakfast as well!!!
