This family-run bed and breakfast enjoys a quiet location in the centre of Interlaken, 1 km from both train stations. It offers a large garden and free WiFi location. Mr. Armin and his family were the best hosts a guest would want. Very kind, humble, clean, and generous. The location is perfect, calm by yet close to the center, and many buses are 2 mins away by walk. I recommend this place.

The view from our room was beautiful over the church bells and the snowed mountains. Very beautiful views from the room and the balcony. Excellent breakfast, the allowed us to have friends not staying at the hotel to join us for breakfast.

Marcel was so welcoming and came to talk to us every breakfast, he provided me with gluten free bread every day and gave us lots of tips for our travels. He was very sweet and helpful. The scenes from the house were breathtaking and the location was perfect as it was about a 10 minute walk to the train station. The bathroom was not in the room but was no issue whatsoever as we were on a floor that no one was on. I would love to stay at another property of Marcel’s again and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a beautiful and comfortable stay in Switzerland.

Situated in Hofstetten, 700 metres from Freilichtmuseum Ballenberg, Hotel Alpenrose beim Ballenberg features free WiFi access and free private parking. So charming (more than the pics let you see) and cozy. Very good breakfast available and the weather was nice enough to have it on the terrasse. The view from our room was beautiful and the area is quiet. We had dinner too and it was also a great value for money and delicious.
