Sparkly clean house and very thoughtful for details. There is a very homely feeling, a kitchen with free coffee, cooking facilities with dishwasher, big dining area and a living room with a big TV. Two spacious showers with toilet and the beds were very comfortable. Near train station but quiet at night. We loved it, it had all we needed and more. Very good value for money.

Fronalpstock Hotel & Restaurant is situated in Stoos, 1922 metres above sea level and next to the 4er Sesselbahn Fronalpstock and 6er Sesselbahn. Located amidst the Ski Region Stoos, the inn is only accessible by foot or via the cable car.

At the inn the rooms are equipped with a terrace. With a private bathroom, some rooms at Fronalpstock Hotel & Restaurant also feature a lake view. The rooms feature a wardrobe. We loved everything about this hotel. Unfortunately we had a bad luck with the weather during our stay and we didn’t manage to enjoy the view which made us really really sad. But it’s no one’s fault obviously. The staff otherwise were welcoming, always smiling and very helpful. We loved our small room, the chalet cozy vibes as well as the delicious food. Also had so much fun with their baby goats. Wish I can come back one day to see the views too.

I ended up changing the dates of my stay without any issues. I was able to drop off my bags early, to go for a hike in Stoos. I came back for check in around 6:00pm, was greeted and shown to my room which was beautiful, cleanly and comfortable. Their home is located in a very convient location for transit, not far from Schwyz station. If you are looking to visit Stoosbahn, this is an amazing place to stay!

Guests can grab a bite to eat in the in-house restaurant, which specialises in Austrian cuisine and also offers vegetarian, vegan and dairy-free options. Benjamin, the owner, is amazing! Professional, courteous, and completely focused on customer service, he ensures everyone’s stay is exceptional! What an awesome experience!

This BnB is sensational, we booked as we wanted to stay close to climb Mt Rigi and we are glad we did. You immediately are welcomed by the lovely owner Erika, who takes pride in the Villa and wants to make it a truely wonderful experience. Erika gave us the local suggestions and an personalised itinerary for the three days we stayed in Goldau. Without her suggestions we would’ve missed, Brunnen and Lake Lauerz which are both close by. The house is also magnificent, over a 100 years old and a real treat. I would highly recommend a stay here and if you do, give yourself 4 days at least to explore the area. With the easy connections from Arth-Goldau (train station, 5 minute walk away), the surrounding regions are all very accessible. There is a lot history to the town and Villa itself and we were quite charmed by the church bells nearby. Thank you Erika for a wonderful stay!

We were there with our two kids and arrived by car. We enjoyed the nature, quietness, farm animals and cow bells. All rooms in the inn are fitted with a coffee machine. Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, rooms at Gästezimmer im Dorfzentrum also boast free WiFi. All units will provide guests with a fridge. Our host Markus was very friendly and communicative. He sent in advance all the necessary info and even provided an extra matress to the room as a useful upgrade. The accommodation is all fine, suitable for 4 people and has its own access to the building via side staircase. Keybox check-in went smoothly thanks to detailed instructions we got. Special thanks to Rothenthurm parking facilities. Parking was originally announced to be paid, but on the parking machine on the place, there were instructions to get a free ticket for 24 hours. Nice surprise, it's very rare in Switzerland. Just a small detail, but it makes a visitor feel more welcome and less like just a money source... :)
