María Isabel and Pedro are such good hosts, nice, they gave us some tips for things to be done in the area.They sent us a menu for the night in case we didn't want to eat outside.It was delicious, they had dinner with us and we talked and enjoyed the dinner so much. Breakfast is delicious.(Apple juice, coffee, cheese, three types of bread, marmalade, butter, eggs....)The daily home made bread comes from the neighbour on the left of the property and the eggs are from another neighbour. Everything is local and very tasty. Thank you both for your warm welcome and the attention received during our stay.

Klaus is a great host. He went above and beyond by welcoming us after a delayed ferry, after 02:00am. On top of that, his breakfast was the best we’d had in weeks of travel!

Warm, cozy, relaxed, great location, quiet, best breakfast in Patagonia, great shower, comfortable bed… really a great place to stay and hang out in Villa O’Higigns. Also, Carolina is a published author on the arts and crafts of the region and a very interesting person to talk to (even though we have minimal Spanish). Highly recommended!

I had a bedroom and ensuite upstairs, my son the room downstairs with his own bathroom. The kitchen was small but adequate and the fact that Andrea supplied breakfast each day made it easy to self cater. Situated in a very picturesque setting it was a perfect base to explore the lakes district of Chile. A car was essential.
