This is 100% owned by locals who put their heart and soul into it. Definitely would recommend.

There is plenty to explore, with an orchid garden and the Ceiba Tree overlooking the property. The breakfast was really nicely done, with a fabulous set-up of the flowers hanging down from the roof of the place. Also overlooking the Lake Arenal, and a feeding station for birds. Fresh coffee brewed the original way at the table. We also got our laundry done by the hosts, which was really handy, great value and done with more care than dedicated businesses for it. We paid extra for the room with a terrace, and it was worth that for the view and sitting out.

Situated in Carrillo and only 200 metres from Carrillo Beach, La Puesta del Sol B&B features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. I loved this location, less than 5 minute walk to the very beautiful beach. I loved waking up to the sounds of the birds. Th breakfast was okay.

Natalie and Yannick are very kind and helpful. We loved every bit of our stay there! The road, depending on which route you take can be an adventure, but we even loved that, including the small creek crossings! We had howler monkeys sleep above our little cabin and woke up to their vocal activity, which was incredible!! We absolutely loved our stay!

The place itself is a few minutes walk from nightlife but far enough for the peace and quiet. The staff were really friendly and excited to help. Out of my 7 day stay in Costa Rica, this was the most relaxing.

Quiet,yet close to Tamarindo and the surrounding beaches- 10-14 min by car. Great breakfast- enjoyed the French crepes every morning, eggs, delicious coffee, homemade yogurt, fresh fruits, gallo pinto, almond cake and more. Nice pool, very refreshing for the hot weather.

The property was very peaceful and surrounded by nature. I was lucky enough to see monkeys . I preferred staying here over the Tamarindo Beach. I felt right at home . Guests at Casa Donna Rosa B&B can enjoy cycling nearby, or make the most of the garden. Everything. Des hôtes professionnels, gentils, attentionnés, by far far far the best night and day we had in costa rica. You will feel like home and in the heart of costa rica at the same time. Trully amazing breakfast and room/house. Everything is well tought, i am sure this is the best place to stai in whole costa rica, all that for a very modest price. Un magnifique quartier paisible et sécuritaire avec de bons restaurants. Je recommande la Casa Donna Rosa pour tout le monde !

At the bed and breakfast, each unit includes a private bathroom. This place is absolutely beautiful. The best place we stayed in all of Costa Rica. Peke is an amazing cook and the breakfast and coffee and juice were fantastic. The dining area is beautiful. Jenna is so warm and welcoming. What a gem of a place. Rooms and grounds are lovely. The pool is wonderful. Because there are only 5 rooms, it is a really peaceful and quiet place and the pool was often empty. Easy and flat walk to the beach takes about 15 mins.
