We really had a most relaxing time.

The host was so gracious, friendly and kind, even making a pot of mint tea from his garden plant for my sick child. The view from the rooms is total wow factor: the 500 year old massive ceiba tree + the lush rainforest with all the colorful tropical plants and birds + the lake = heaven! The rooms are spotless and the home cooked meals delicious. I hope we have the good fortune to start here again someday 🥰

The room was wonderful, the presentation of the bed looked so nice I didn’t want to mess it up! It was quiet, location is great, nice view, short walk to the beach. Owner and staff were very friendly, breakfast was delicious. Nice semi personal patio and hammock outside although it was too hot outside to use. Lines to hang clothes to dry. Shower pressure was fantastic. I also took a horseback ride through the beach and jungle and it was the all time best ride I’ve ever had. It was called Horses Paradise, Playa Carrillo and my guide picked me up at the hotel with my horse.

The place itself is a few minutes walk from nightlife but far enough for the peace and quiet. The staff were really friendly and excited to help. Out of my 7 day stay in Costa Rica, this was the most relaxing.

We came without a car, and they gave us lifts to the beach, the supermarket and even to the new hotel, when we after some very relaxing days moved on. Amazing.

I slept in the little one on the picture, very cozy!

The villas are immersed in trees, you can hear the monkeys at night, the room is spacious and it has lots of storage. The pool was great when you get back from exploring the area. the breakfast is incredible. The owners are really nice and full of suggestions on things to do. would definitely return.
