This is a special place, Chef Eyal is top notch, we’ll know and loved and his staff are incredible. We stayed the night and had the Chef’s Choice Tastings dinner which was 7 course + dessert and fabulous. Room was comfortable and we were accommodated with an extra kids bed upon request for our family of 4. Breakfast was also amazing, we felt like family and will definitely be back as this is our 3rd time through Lake Arenal area and we visit every year.

Los Tucanes Lodging ligger i El Castillo de La Fortuna, 25 km fra Catarata La Fortuna og 4,1 km fra Sky Adventures Arenal. Her er en terrasse og gratis privat parkering samt gratis wi-fi. Rigtig hjælpsom og imødekommende vært. Morgenmaden var rigtig lækker og varieret. Dejlig udsigt til vulkanen.

Our spacious, very clean and well equipped apartment had a great kitchen with toaster, coffee maker, microwave and blender. Very quiet setting with large patio, table and chairs. Our favourite pastim was swimming in a long rectangular lap swimming pool wiit panaramic views of Lake Arenal and the Arenal Volcano. Our hosts Kees and Griselda were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the various restaurants, cafes and mini supermarkets in the Town of Tronadora that were only a short 5-10 minute walk away. The exceptional full hot breakfast was delicious and included scrambled eggs, ham fresh fruit and amazing home made pancakes 🥞 delivered to our apartment each morning . Kees and Grizelda went out of their way to make our stay there as enjoyable as possible.

Hotel Nepenthe B&B is located 4 km from the Arenal Volcano National Park and 3 km from the Arenal Lake. It features a hot tub, sun terrace with swimming pool, spa treatments and free breakfast. Excellent. The food, and specially the pizza is a must! Also the views were astonishing and the staff was great. We had a massage and it was one of the best we ever had. Fabian is a great therapist. The facilities were very clean and comfortable.
