For me the location was great: outside of center Espargos means no noises at all, super quiet and relaxing neighbourhood. Minimarket was 5 min walking away, nice and cheap restaurant 3 min. I even walked to the airport which was around 40min. The bus station for the collectivos to Santa Maria (scooter rental) is 20min walking. The room and the house is superclean, modern, and the owner is really friendly, and nearly always available via booking or WhatsApp. He speaks Portugese, Englisch, spanish and french... He has mountain bikes for rent (just 7km to the Salinas), and in the near future also scooter. The room is big with a big bed and a comfy matrace. There is a table and chairs. Also there are enough plugs to charge your stuff. The bathroom looks / is new and has a shower with hot water. The WiFi works great. I loved staying here! Definitely recommend this place!

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to get to know the real Sal and its people. The owners went above and beyond to make me feel not only welcome, but truly at home. The room was super comfy, and the food was always delicious (be sure to try one of Candida's secret recipes for dinner, if you get the chance). I was provided with all the help and advice I needed in order to explore the island, and Candida and Martin personally took me to places that only local people know about. If, like me, you prefer a quiet, remote beach over those crowed, touristy ones: there's a small one just a short bicycle ride away – although I usually opted for a walk through to beautiful steppe landscape to get there. If you prefer spending your days with the other tourists down in the south of the island: Santa Maria beach is only 20 minutes by bus – which may sound complicated at first, but is actually super fun and convenient (and it only costs 1 Euro). I could go on praising this place for two weeks (which is actually the amount of time I stayed), but I'll just stop here – not without saying: Thank you, Candida & Martin, for the wonderful time at kleine schweiz! I really enjoyed my stay there, and overall in Sal. Paola is a great host. Even if you don´t speak english, she probably will speak the language you speak. She and Mano are very kind and helpful, giving good tips and recommendations for restaurants and sights on the island. I hope to come back soon!

The Appartment was clean and had a big balcony. The host was really accommodating and made the holiday much more comfortable, showing us around on our first day, giving us ideas of what to do, organising the activities and even driving us around if he had the time. Would recommend 10/10

Cách Bãi biển Praia de Santa Maria 2 phút đi bộ, Casa Blu Guesthouse - Casa de Hospedes có sân trong và Wi-Fi miễn phí. Upstairs open air kitchen and big table. Connexion with others(not so many!) easy to get to the beach, to the without cars street. Easy going life. Nice ideas for decoration. Nice restaurants around

Great location! Right in front of the beach. Very spacious and great value for money. Staff were very friendly and I would definitely stay there again.

Robert is a truly wonderful host! He made us feel welcome right away and offered to show us around Santa Maria. He helped us every day with any question we had. The apartment is really neat and modern, everything you need. Would definitely come again.

It was quite big and well equipped. The overall house is also nice and in a quiet area of Santa Maria, around 15mins walking from the center. There are a few restaurants and markets also quite close. The owners are very kind and provided us with some useful tips related to Sal! Very appreciated!
