It’s incredibly clean, comfortable and quiet, and it’s so much nicer being a little outside the main center. It’s only a 10-minute walk to the main strip, and there are several markets and restaurants nearby. Lienke was a wonderful host. She gave us tips on where to eat and what to do. We’re sad to leave! Really such a perfect spot.

Excellent Reception Service – Super friendly and helpful staff who arranged our tours and gave great restaurant and activity tips. 2. Delicious Breakfast – Fresh, tasty, and served by a lovely team. Definitely worth including! Besides that, the location is perfect—right by the beach and close to town. Our room was just as pictured and very clean.

We liked everything, bed and pillows were good, shower was great, aircon is clean and silent, room was clean, location is just 5 mins away from main square, and a very friendly owner who helped us with everything, from taxis to booking guides.

The breakfast was very nice and a good addition to our early planned activities. The staff was of great help to plan, book, and coordinate the timings of our tours, super friendly!! Julio was great in explaining to us how the tours would go on the following mornings. I definitely recommend Sula Sula!!

Breakfast is daily served. - the best location you can get - likely the best access to the beach and best sea view on the whole Puerto Villamil Beach - great breakfast, including both local and continental cuisine, prepared fresh by the Chef - exceptionally nice staff - has it's 'own' sea lion - highly recommend to spend more time on Isabela Island

At the guest house, units come with a seating area. Comfortable, large room with kitchen had everything we needed. Very good location close to the centre and located next to quiet street. Joel, our host, was super nice and helpful. He helped us to book local tours to Tintoreras and Minas Azufras in good prices. He also borrowed us his bicycles, for free. We had very nice stay.

The guest house has family rooms. For a fraction of the price of a fancy hotel, La Flamecos provides the most (if not more) than most of the other hotels on Isabsla. First, amazing location almost surroundded by a picteresque lagoon beloved by flamingoes. My room overlooked the lagoon and I woke up every morning to the magic sight and sound of flamingoes beginning their day and "quarelling" over their territory or the food, or some other flamingo business. The hostal is 1 block away from a beautiful beach (you could hear the waves from the room, but could see them only from balcony outside), restaurants, and tour agencies. It is 5 minutes car ride to the ferry and Concha de Perla, and 10 min walk to the tortoise breeding center. Further down there is a Wall of Tears hike too. Second, on an island with no pavement I had a reliable endless HOT shower in the room! Asking around, even people who shelled out top dollar for beachfront hotels had lukewarm shower. Third, clean bed and room with refrigerator, a/c, balcony to hang the swimsuits, and a proper mosquito net. I tended to use little a/c, but kept my windows open and did not get bitten once. If there were minor annoyances (tiny sink, little ants, dirty spot on the wall, etc.), I just dealt with it, because I could not possibly expect more than I got for the price I paid. And finally - amazing, warm, welcoming staff. Melina and Olga were always there if I needed ANYTHING. Extra blanket, beach towel, advice on tours, taxis, anything I wanted and at any time of the day. By the end of my stay it really felt like being part of their family. Thank you for a wonderful stay and magic memories of Isabela!
