The room was spacious, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the balcony was large enough to enjoy comfortably. The bathroom was big, and the bed was very comfortable. For our second trip to Barcelona, we will stay here for sure!

Was modern and comfortable. Room was soundproof to the street. Staff at desk were very friendly. Was more a hotel than a hostal.

All rooms at the Ciudadela are heated, and there is a TV. Most rooms have a work desk and a private balcony. The location is perfect. Short walks to all the main sights. Friendly staff and a very comfortable, clean room. An added bonus was the rooftop terrace! Just step out the door and a ride to the top in the elevator gives you an oasis amid plants and views of the city. Lots of chairs and lounges. We would rest up there for a couple hours at the end of the day before heading out for dinner.
