Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the bed and breakfast free of charge. Åland Maritime Museum is 22 km away and S:t Görans Church is 22 km from the bed and breakfast. Very kind and helpful host. Nice environment, and close to a shop.

During June, July and August 2026 we manage Bed and Breakfast only, hence no evening dinners. Björnhofvda Gård is a really nice B&B with excellent facilities and very, very friendly staff. Breakfast was also nice with more than enough choice. Location cannot be beaten: very tranquil, rural environment. Would definitely not hesitate to return when the opportunity arises.

Guests at the bed and breakfast can enjoy a buffet breakfast. A minimarket is available at the bed and breakfast. Lovely cabins at a great location in Sottunga. The owners were amazing and so accommodating! Home-made breakfast served every morning was also lovely! I can only recommend to stay here if you are coming to visit Åland.

At the bed and breakfast, units come with bed linen and towels. Excellent location. Kastelsholm castle and Jan Karlsgården open-air museum is in walking distance. Bus stop is also nearby (although I recommend hiring a bike in Mariehamn, if you are not with cars). Nice wooden buildings painted red, lot of greens, great environment for relaxing. Spacious room with comfortable beds, with sockets and lamps where needed. Wifi is good. There is a big kitchen where breakfast is served (plus tables outside if the weather is nice) and can be used freely outside breakfast. Also can store your food in the fridge there. Nattaya (the host) is very kind and helpful. Breakfast was very good and plentiful, we especially liked the homemade berry pie.

At the bed and breakfast, every unit includes a wardrobe. Some rooms also offer a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, a fridge and a stovetop. At the bed and breakfast, the units have bed linen and towels. Very friendly hostess. Helpful. No need to rush when we had to leave: official 10.00am, but it was no problem to stay till 12.00.

The staff was super helpful and welcoming, and the building and surroundings charming. I've never stayed in prettier rooms! There's a sense of calm to the place, and almost a feeling of being transported back in time. The location is convenient for people driving and cycling, I'm sure, but also for people hiking! There's a bus stop right next to Amalia, which makes exploring Åland on foot convenient. With Amalia as your base camp, you'll have a lovely place to return to after your adventure. The breakfast was good, especially the homemade bread. And at the end of a whole day of hiking, there's nothing better than a cold bottle of lemonade, made in the factory right next door!

The staff was very welcoming, and friendly. There were many choices for breakfast and it was delicious. There was a sauna on the property which we enjoyed.
