We couldn't have been happier with our stay at l'Atelier. Marco made us feel right at home and our dog absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED playing with his dog Anna! It was a great location for us to catch Le Shuttle to England the following morning, after a wonderful nights sleep and a great breakfast. No problems with parking, which was an added bonus. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to England from France.

This is a truly magical place, because of Marion and Gilles are the most fantastic hosts! We fele so lucky to have been able to come and stay in this truly unique, fantastical and tranquil chateau. Marion and Gilles' breakfast is one fo the best weve ever had - with fresh warm bread from the oven, fruit from the trees in the orchard... what more could you want? a fantastic sleep and wonderful sunsets and sunrises over the chateau! It was truly wonderful talking to MArion and Gilles and listening to their story of restroing the house and the grounds. I wish them the very best for the future and keep going! As architects, we know how incredibly difficult and tiring it is to restore a heritage asset. WELL DONE. perfection. we will be back to help you with the build!

Lovely room with attached bathroom, stocked fridge, tea, coffee and chocolate to drink. Access to outside sitting area. Good wifi and easy access. Large breakfast. Christian very friendly and interested in ensuring you have a nice stay. We thought it slightly expensive but there was no where cheaper options so I think it is suitable price for that area.

We had a wonderful stay in great comfort and care for, by our host, with the warmth of family. an old Castle with the charm of old world with all the comforts of today. We Highly recommend this place for an unforgettable stay! Definitely a 5 star! it will stay in our list of favorites places in France... for ever!

The large garden, the terrace, and the veranda are exquisite, the saloon and dining room are just depicted from centuries ago, and the hospitality of the host has no equal. I really recommend this location for all those who want to forget about daily routine and get lost for a bit in this little paradise. The bed is very comfortable and the room is very unique in decor. Breakfast is really amazing as well, carefully prepared, keeping in mind all the little details. Thank you, Fanny and Teddy, for our amazing weekend. We can't wait to come again!🙏

The room was very quiet and clean. The hosts were very polite and gave us lots of information. The breakfast was exceptional.

We were greeted at the door by a lovely couple who made us feel very welcome and totally at ease. This was Virginie and Pascal and whilst Virginie entertained us in the living room, Pascal carried our luggage up three flights of stairs. Also, as we took a shower, Pascal booked an excellent restaurant nearby and even walked us to it so we couldn't go wrong. The next morning, we were presented with a most excellent breakfast at a time that accorded with our ferry check-in time. This breakfast included their own exquisite homemade jams and marmalades, and Pascal had gone out that morning for fresh bread and cheeses that were well chosen for quality. Car parking was outside the door but, Pascal offered us the use of his private site around the other side of the house. This bed and breakfast is exactly what good accommodation should be and is run by a couple who care about their reputation and offer what they would expect themselves. Consequently, I have no hesitation in highly recommending Le Clos Des Mouettes. Well done Virginie and Pascal.
