This is a very unusual location at first sight, the road is busy and relatively unassuming in looks, however we stayed in a top of this large house apartment with its' own terrace with views above of the old chateau and opposite direction to the river Seine, we caught this on a spring day sunset and it was lovely. The attention to design detail and the quality of fixtures and fittings is clearly evident and much appreciated. Our lady host was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and served in a charming room in the main house, all in all a little gem and if in the area will certainly look forward to returning . The only caveat (unless we somehow missed it) was there was no air conditioning, which was a great surprise considering the overall quality of this apartment and as a loft room would be very warm in the summer months!

Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the bed and breakfast free of charge. The property is non-smoking and is situated 11 km from Falaise d'Aval. great location for proximity to Golf d'Etretat and nearby towns and villages. Wonderful hosts and fabulous breakfast. They could not have been kinder. Despite arriving at 21.35 they still managed to go on and find us a table to eat in a restaurant that evening.

The room was very warm and comfortable, and the bathroom was also luxurious. Marie-Clotilde is a wonderful host and an interesting conversationalist, providing us with excellent recommendations for restaurants and attractions. Every morning we woke up to the smell of hot croissants. The view from the room overlooked the village, and at dawn, if you opened the window, you could hear the birds and the sound of rain. We sincerely recommend!

From the moment we arrived at the gate and met Suren (owner) waiting for us, all was perfect! It is a beautiful 17c building, lovingly decorated and a magical garden in the back. Suren and Jonathan are top hosts and dinner and breakfast were executed to perfection. We highly recommend “evergreen”, it’s a must!!!
