Had everything we needed and water and fruit juice in the fridge was a nice touch. We would have liked ‘proper’ mugs as the small tea cups are too hot to hold when filled with hot drinks so we bought two and left them in the cupboard. Superb value and superior to most hotel rooms.

The atmosphere throughout is tranquil and relaxing, the house itself a beautiful old building with a wonderfully decorated interior full of interesting and surprising touches. The facilities are first class, spacious room, very comfortable bed, great shower/bath etc. Location - steps away from the Cathedral, perfect. Breakfast, excellent, had a wide and plentiful choice - sitting out under the covered shaded garden veranda. On top of all this, the personal welcome and attention to everyone's needs - given by the owner, made this an exceptional place. Thank you!

We loved everything about this place from the moment we booked it until we arrived . It’s a magical place only few minutes away from the motorway . The hosts have great taste and thought of every details of our stay . We booked it one hour before and were welcomed like we felt at home with preserved meals to warm up and the following day a delightful breakfast . We left this place knowing we will return to enjoy it longer especially that the host is a great chef (you need to book it advance ) and they have a spa . Really a very surprising gem ! We will come back for sure !

The castle was been lovingly renovated. The castle was clean, comfortable and a joy to stay at. The food was all delicious.

The hosts were super easy to communicate with, even though I only speak a little French. They made everything feel personal and welcoming, with great attention to detail. The house has so much character, plus a fun game room, and the breakfast was warm and friendly — a perfect start to the day!
