The breakfast was fine and plentiful. They didn't have any eggs in the breakfast buffet but I'm sure the host would have prepared them for us if we had asked. Everything was fresh and tasty.

We would have liked ‘proper’ mugs as the small tea cups are too hot to hold when filled with hot drinks so we bought two and left them in the cupboard. Superb value and superior to most hotel rooms.

The atmosphere throughout is tranquil and relaxing, the house itself a beautiful old building with a wonderfully decorated interior full of interesting and surprising touches. The facilities are first class, spacious room, very comfortable bed, great shower/bath etc. Location - steps away from the Cathedral, perfect. Breakfast, excellent, had a wide and plentiful choice - sitting out under the covered shaded garden veranda. On top of all this, the personal welcome and attention to everyone's needs - given by the owner, made this an exceptional place. Thank you!

The 3 owners had clearly worked hard to create a charming, beautiful, stylish home that they welcomed us into. 110% superb. Everything was amazing yet wonderfully relaxed. They even made us comfortable trying out our fumbling French. Very supportive.
