We easily found the accommodation and were able to park in front of the entrance. Ian – along with his two cute and well-behaved little dogs :o) – was a very kind host and made us a delicious breakfast. Brucefield B&B is beautiful historic house with peaceful tree lined garden. Oru and Anita were there to greet us and couldnt have been more friendly and thoughtful. Free alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks were avaiable in the lounge area as well as snacks. Free soft drinks avialble in the fridge in our room. Excellent variety of tea and coffee products in our room as well. Our room was large and immaculate with a very comfortable bed. The shower had excellent water pressure and the bath robes were a lovely touch. Breakfast was top notch with smoked salmon and the famous local Arbroath smokie on offer. It was a beautiful 20 minute walk along a costal path into town and good transport links to train and bus station. The lovely coastal walk to Auchmithie is a few minutes away too. Oru and Anita clearly put a lot of effort into anticipating their guests needs, with sun loungers, garden games, dvd library and prefilled music USBSs. Couldn't recommend their B&B more highly and genuinely felt more like a small luxury hotel than what you expect from a B&B.
