Nestled in the pretty Gloucestershire village of Coln St Aldwyns, this beautiful country inn offers a garden overlooking meadows and elegant, individually designed rooms with modern amenities. This inn perfectly matches the charm of the village, super cozy and with a nostalgic, almost timeless feel, yet offering all the modern comforts. Our room was spacious and spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom included a tub, just as we had requested. The restaurant was also excellent, we really enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. We definitely recommend this place and would love to return!

The 17th-century Fox Inn is set on the banks of the River Windrush, in the lovely Cotswolds countryside. It offers individually styled rooms with free Wi-Fi, a charming pub and riverside dining. Everything. Very charming and the Owner or Manager was absolutely a gem and so helpful and hospitable.

In the Cotswold village of Frampton Mansell, The Crown Inn is a 17th-century ‘cider house’ with log fires, traditional home-cooked food, locally brewed real ales and good company! This is our second time staying, and we loved the cozy pub and exceptional meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We appreciated the real fires that were lit throughout the pub and the dog-friendly atmosphere. It was a quiet place to stay with great views of the Golden Valley. I liked the local Corinium ale they had on tap.

Short walking distance into town with its many restaurants, bars & shops. We didn’t have a car and managed to either walk (we like to walk long distances) or bus to nearby towns. The guest house was lovely. The water pressure in the shower was excellent and bed (double size) and bedding very comfortable. Our hosts Wendy & Clive were so friendly and accommodating. Included breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. We were celebrating an anniversary while there and Wendy added a few surprise treats.

There is everything you need and all of that is just a short walk away from the rail station! Perfect!
