Nestled in the pretty Gloucestershire village of Coln St Aldwyns, this beautiful country inn offers a garden overlooking meadows and elegant, individually designed rooms with modern amenities. The room was very beautiful, great attention to details. We were pleasantly surprised by the menu in the restaurant, very high class food, very delicious, including the breakfast a la carte. The staff was very friendly.

The 17th-century Fox Inn is set on the banks of the River Windrush, in the lovely Cotswolds countryside. It offers individually styled rooms with free Wi-Fi, a charming pub and riverside dining. Beautiful location and very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend!

In the Cotswold village of Frampton Mansell, The Crown Inn is a 17th-century ‘cider house’ with log fires, traditional home-cooked food, locally brewed real ales and good company! Friendly welcoming staff, great food (dinner and breakfast), clean and comfortable room. Highly recommend. We stayed overnight to break our journey.

The breakfast was exceptionally well made, many options to choose from and each one was delicious (yes! Vegetarian too!) The b&b is well maintained by the lovely Mark and his family, the property, the room, the atmosphere, amazing stay The room had all the facilities you could possibly ask for and the bed was comfortable. The area, although seems secluded, is actually extremely nice for walking and discovering all the public footpaths, loads of friendly dogs and gorgeous gardens. Stable Lodge’s website had extremely useful recommendations for things to do and places to eat (I would recommend our picks - kibou Japanese restaurant per food and 270 climbing park, lower&upper slaughter per activity)
