Boasting a garden and a restaurant, Castle Inn is situated in Lydford. Guests can have a drink at the bar. All rooms in the inn are fitted with a flat-screen TV. Overall the personal touch - which was then supported by great beds, bathroom stuff as well as perfect food. Little touches like home made cookies and fresh milk in the bedroom just spoilt us. They also had a bike shed which made us more relaxed about our bikes safety overnight - although the village was clearly not a high crime area

We stayed New Years Eve. We had booked a room and advised we were vegan. We had the most fantastic meal, so many courses, such great flavours. The chef asked what sort of food we liked in advance and the meal was superb. We will be back. The staff team were attentive and very nice. We felt well looked after.

The rooms are newly remodeled and beautifully appointed. The linens, towels, rugs and floor coverings are so nice! The colors in the common rooms and bedrooms are lovely and soothing. The hosts Linda and Aiden are delightful. The full English breakfast served in the beautiful dining room was amazing !!! I cannot say enough nice things about Harrabeer Country Inn.

Very friendly staff, superb location on the edge of the moor. Room was nicely decorated, well equipped and clean. Breakfast excellent and evening meal good pub fare. I like the slightly quirky style of the place - so much better than bigger fancier hotels that are often soulless.
