It's outside the centre,a good walk but just minutes on the bus that stops outside for both directions. Ready to visit again soon!😃

The Guest House is very nicely decorated, sparkling clean, comfortable and modern. Self check-in is super straightforward and no need to worry about a key as you only use codes to enter. The Guest House is super close to a bus stop and the center is reachable in no time. Alia, the owner, is the best and really cared for our comfort, and she has made sure to have umbrellas, sugars and other things at the entrance for her guests’ perusal. Great value for money in Edinburgh where all types of accommodation are very expensive especially in summer. Overall, highly recommend the Roost Hill Guest House!

The owner Dannii and her husband our wonderful hosts. The room was well appointed, the bed king-size and super comfy. The walk-in shower fantastic and the breakfast was a wonderful continental breakfast. Adequate for us. In town we dined twice at the Bridge Inn. The food and drink were great and we had a great time plus we got a discount as guest of the Couch House. We visited Edinburgh from Uphall railway station to Waverly paying GBP 14 for 2 round-trip tickets. The Couch House itself and the surroundings are one of a kind.

The guesthouse is very close to the coast where people like to walk. Edinburgh city centre is within easy reach by bus. Highly recommended.
