Very welcoming hosts provided a lot of thoughtful touches, such as a “kitchenette” with tea/coffee available at all times, plus a fridge for guest use. Option of continental or cooked breakfast was a plus. A lot of privacy in a spotless, comfortably appointed, quiet environment made this a very pleasant base from which to explore a lot of local features. Good parking.

Situated in the garden of a home, it's updated to a high, tasteful standard, with new everything! The owners had fresh artisan bread and diet-restriction-friendly options for our breakfast waiting for us, with jams and butters and milks and juices. Toaster, microwave, fridge, sink, all were in great working order and made for a lovely breakfast for us before we started out again on our walk. There is a pub a few steps outside the door, but there was no noise at all from it in the evening. The windows overlook the churchyard behind the cottage, the owners graciously shared their clothesline with me so I could dry my hiking clothes, and their dogs are lovely! A truly luxurious spot on the Two Moors Way!

Accommodation was lovely, pub around the corner & not too far to main street, set in quiet street, so no street noise Lynn and her hubby were lovely, made sure we had everything (even home made chocolates & brownies) then left us too it. Breakfast was yummy, Lynn even gave us some additional spots to visit on our way down to Cornwall.

Tina is such a welcoming host and everything is so beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is bar none. I especially liked the filtered water, selection of teas and oat milk sachets in the room👌🤩 A perfect oasis and getaway, I felt like a new person when I left 😊

What a fantastic B&B! The furnishings and decor were top notch, super comfy beds, and the garden patio area was absolutely gorgeous! Alan was a superb host - we enjoyed our visit with him very much! He recommended a great Indian restaurant that was a short walk away, and the food there was delicious! Alan had a wonderful breakfast in the morning for us. Overall we were delighted with our stay. We wished we could have stayed for another night!

Kettle in the room with tea, coffee milk etc and a TV. There was also an upstairs lounge available for guests with 2 armchairs and a TV which we didn't use. Breakfast was included with a selection of cereals, toast, yogurts, fruit juice, coffee, tea, chocolate. Driveway available for parking. There were local shops in the town which were a walkable distance.
