We had to change our plans suddenly and were delighted that rooms were free at quite short notice. We were given a warm reception and shown around the facilities as it was late we ordered a meal to be delivered and they kindly found plates to accommodate us. My room was fantastic. Very comfortable bed and a ballroom for a bathroom. Tea, coffee, cold water and milk were provided on the landing, but also in you room. Breakfast was very tasty and served around a farm style wooden table. A cooked breakfast was also an option, but I was very happy with the fruit, yogurt and toast. Excellent facilities and comfortable stay. If I'm back this way I would stay again.

The bathrooms were wonderful! After traveling for 2 weeks with terrible bathrooms and even black mold in one, this updated bathroom was HEAVEN. 🚽🚿 The host, while not obligated, offered and helped me with my suitcase up and down the stairs. Small but HUGE when you're a solo traveler. The breakfast they offer for an extra charge (not a lot) was absolutely 💯 worth it. Best meal I had in Cheddar, and they proved gluten-free bread! 🙌🍞 As a solo traveler, I would 100% recommend staying at this location if you are visiting Cheddar.

Situated in the garden of a home, it's updated to a high, tasteful standard, with new everything! The owners had fresh artisan bread and diet-restriction-friendly options for our breakfast waiting for us, with jams and butters and milks and juices. Toaster, microwave, fridge, sink, all were in great working order and made for a lovely breakfast for us before we started out again on our walk. There is a pub a few steps outside the door, but there was no noise at all from it in the evening. The windows overlook the churchyard behind the cottage, the owners graciously shared their clothesline with me so I could dry my hiking clothes, and their dogs are lovely! A truly luxurious spot on the Two Moors Way!

Aymen and Pete are very welcoming, and Aymen's breakfasts are amazing. He is a master chef. The location was very close to everything, directly between the Tor/chalice well and the Abbey. Also, the B and B is on the St Michael Ley line, which is pretty cool.
