Everything. Perfect location, exceptionally clean room. Everything I could have needed was there. All the staff very friendly and helpful. My ferry was cancelled the day I was due to leave and they went out of their way to ensure I could stay in the room an extra night.

With respect to the local architecture, the stone-built Nereids Guesthouse enjoys views of the Saronic Gulf and Hydra Town from its furnished terraces. It consists of elegantly decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi. Amazing view! No noise except for donkeys, cat fights and birds, but we slept like babies. The bed is perfect! You can have coffee or a drink on the beautiful terrace with a sea view. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Although o had to ask a local about directions. Clean, everything was tidy, accessible.

Ingredients including jam, honey, juice and biscuits are also provided so that guests can prepare their breakfast themselves. A beautiful room with a modern bathroom, everything starting from the ”welcome basket” to the cozy garden was lovely. The location as well is perfect, just 100m from the port and no stairs. Would recommend staying here!

Originally a wealthy sea captain’s mansion built in 1810, the Hotel Miranda is a fine example of characteristic local architecture. It is located 250 metres from the port and 500 metres from Ydra’s main beach. The rooms and building were beautiful -high celings, styled in an antique way. Amazing Service- The staff were wonderful. Breakfast was really good- coffee, juice, toast with spreads, mix of fruit, greek yogurt, honey and a choice of eggs cooked your way. The beds were comfortable Great location as 5 or 7 minutes walk from Port. Minimal stairs compared to the rest of the island . Slight incline up from Port, but only a feew stairs up at the hotel. This was good as I have a bad Knee
