The next morning there was a delicious breakfast waiting for us and they explained to us the best ways to explore the country and what places would be best to see in Guatemala. after breakfast they dropped us off at the bus stop and made sure we were on the right bus. absolutely amazing hosts! ♥️

The staff was very friendly and attentive and the place was super clean. The room I stayed in was perfect for one person, exactly what I needed! I needed to have three business meetings in the morning (video calls) and the internet was perfect! I had no issues meeting with my clients. It’s inside a gated community and there was parking for my truck (a big pick up) my Spanish is not that good so when I received the confirmation I didn’t realize I had to pay in cash or deposit into their bank account. I had a knock at the door asking me to pay and I only had credit cards. He explained cash only or deposit in his bank account. I quickly made a phone call to transfer the money. There was not a problem at all. He was very patient with me and allowed time for this to take place. I sent him a confirmation of the deposit and all was good. I will absolutely stay here anytime I need to be in the capital by myself! Or the larger room if I’m not alone. But I will stay here again!! 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Casa Carmel is the perfect BnB for travelers who adore historic architecture, design, and comforts. It is beautifully appointed with Authentic Guatemalan art. The staff were amiable, warm & helpful and the gardens are well-maintained. It is a perfect place to get away from the hustle of the city once you are inside Casa's doors. I will be visiting again.

I don’t know why this is called hostel but I feel like I’m in a hotel. After one week in other hostels, the hot shower with proper water pressure feels like heaven! Staff is super friendly, cater to all my needs, bottle water, hair dryer, fixing bed side lamp. I had 2:00AM Flight, the manager arranged my taxi, and even gave me an apple as a snack for long journey! Such a sweet gesture!

It is a very small room and very close to the airport and nightlife so a bit loud but I had earplugs so it didn’t bother me. Clean drinking water was provided and the shower was hot.

This is a wonderful place to stay, like a boutique hotel, very close to the airport and it just takes a couple of minutes to get to the terminal. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. Very comfortable beds. I will definitely stay here in the future.

They have free shuttles to/from the airport (or for a small fee depending on the hours). Breakfast is included from 7:30 till 9:30. They provide free drinking water too. I had the quadruple room and really enjoyed it, especially the nice terrace with the hammock. It can get a bit noisy (walls seem to be very thin) but apart from that I got nothing to say 🙂 Received a quetzal keyring as a farewell gift and love the intention 🙂 Surroundings are ok. The restaurant Shucos y chelas is 5-min walk and good.
