From the location, to the facilities, to the food and the incredible staff our stay was outstanding. The staff was stellar in all ways. The accommodations were clean, beautiful, amazing. Breakfast, lunch and cream teas were excellent. We spent four days and truly did not want to leave!

The knock on the door signaling the arrival of our daily "breakfast basket" was a welcome start to the day! Orange juice, warm croissants and bread, cereal, fruit and the most delicious yoghurt jars! The lodge was in a great location - walking distance to the castle and pubs! The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. A perfect "home away from home".

She met me on arrival and welcomed me to the beautiful and spotless bed and breakfast hotel. I was going to a funeral the next day and Helen organised all the taxis and even ironed my shirt and trousers on the day of the funeral. The irish breakfast used quality bacon, and sausages and tea was in abundance The room was so good I did a video to show my brother and we will definitely be staying again.

JBs Bar & Guest Accommodation is set in the centre of Kilkenny, 400 metres from Kilkenny Castle. 600 metres from Smithwick's Brewery Tour, the property is also 1.7 km away from St. JBs was a great start to our 10-day trip. Neat the train station it was easy to check in and explore Kilkenny. Lots of cute shops and cafes on the way into town. JBs is quiet at night and beds were comfortable
