Our host was friendly and warm on our arrival. She has gone over and above to help us settle in and let us feel loved and welcome. The rooms are spacious with lovely big windows to enjoy the countryside and garden. The property has a lovely view of the rolling hills and mountains. Peace and Tranquility is medicine for the tired and weary soul and body. It is close to Sligo and Strandhill beach if you fancy a walk on the beach or go for a swim or maybe some surfing. Then there is the lovely Glencar Waterfall with a coffee shop if you fancy a cup of coffee or a bite to eat after the walk to the waterfall. i will highly recommend Peace and Tranquility when visiting Sligo.

And last but not least, the best breakfast we had on our journey in Ireland - choose between traditional Irish or Salmon-type, both were just delicious!

Nestled within the beautiful countryside with views over looking Sligo's most iconic feature on the Wild Atlantic Way, Ben Bulben mountain Lissadell Lodge is situated in a very quiet and peaceful... Impeccably clean house with lovely details — the carpet on the first floor was soft and spotless, and we really appreciated the no-shoes policy. The hostess was very friendly and accommodating. Even though we arrived late at night, we were warmly welcomed with the offer of hot chocolate or tea and could relax in the lounge. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we had a very nice continental breakfast served in a cosy room that truly felt like home. A peaceful, welcoming stay — highly recommended!
