When we left our jackets behind in the cupboard, they posted them on for us, of which we are extremely grateful. The proximity to Rosslare for the ferry to Fishguard.

We were shown to our room, she took our breakfast order and she gave us some information for dinner that evening. The room was spacious, it had everything that you'd typically find in a room for a nights stay. There were towels, tea and coffee, TV, fridge to use just outside our room in the hallway and even a safe and ironing board in our room too. The breakfast the next morning was exceptional, Geraldine had cooked us up a full Irish breakfast and a veggie one (for myself) which had potato croquettes instead of pork sausages. The table was nicely laid out, we had the table for 2 by the window which overlooked the front garden so that was really nice. The cooked breakfasts came out fast. We already had freshly made croissants, wheaten bread and mini scones on the table and over on the other side of the dining room there was a big farmhouse cabinet with cereals, granolas, jams and spreads, juices, water, fruit, yogurts, cheeses and a selection of teas on the other side. Geraldine's husband brought us out our teas, coffees, toast, cooked breakfasts, sauces and checked on us a little later on to see if everything was ok. We found the accommodation easy to find, it was close to restaurants and the harbour (which we had a 10am boat to catch to the saltee islands to see the Puffins).

The property features garden and quiet street views, and is 35 km from Christ Church Cathedral. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. We stayed at this lovely, well-organized, and welcoming B&B. Liz, the owner, gave us a warm and friendly welcome. She is incredibly kind and personable. The following morning, she prepared a wonderful breakfast for us. I highly recommend this place.

The view from the window was directly onto a green landscape. The area is very well suited for excursions into nature. The house is very large and beautiful. The landlords are super friendly, courteous and helpful. The breakfast was freshly prepared and lovingly served by Bernadette. The selection is very good. Wi-Fi worked very well and it was very quiet at night. It was an absolutely relaxing stay there. A perfect end to my vacation in Ireland. I will miss the country and its people.
