Port Aran House is a beautifully designed B&B in a modern house just outside the relatively busy area of Kilronan where the ferries land. The place is full of first-class local art. My modestly sized room was efficiently organized with a window looking out at the ocean. While it was a bit blustery to take advantage of the big outdoor ocean facing deck, the property has a living room with abundant light. The young couple running the place had a full house when I was there, 2 young kids, and a dog, but they still made time to prepare delicious homemade scones for the self-service breakfast plus check in with their guests daily. My six days at Port Aran House were a gem and a highlight of five weeks in Ireland. Many thanks to Sokha and Kevin.

I traveled alone to Inishmor and stayed a week with Geraldine and Thomas — and I cannot think of better and kinder hosts. We greatly enjoyed our stay here, with comfortable beds, a clean room, a quiet house and showers with pressure (exceptional enough in Ireland, so we think it needs to be highlighted!). Breakfast is included and generous. Bartley is very kind and made us feel right at home. We warmly recommand this lovely place.

We offer a complete complimentary breakfast. This includes hot Irish breakfast as well as continental items. There is no charge for any breakfast food. Sean and Brenda are just great. Super polite, punctual, and keeping their words. They did help us a lot with advice on what to visit on the island, picked us up from the ferry, and took our luggage to the pier that made our stay smother and we could just enjoy our time. The included breakfast was good. Location is perfect for exploring both parts of Inishmore.

Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Everything was perfect. Lovely old house, very nice owners, great breakfast. Owners drive a small bus in and out of town a few times a day for the guests.

Breakfasts are provided each morning, and Wi-Fi is available in public areas. The location was good with great views and the hostess was very helpful and served up an excellent breakfast.
