Set in mature landscaped gardens on the fashionable Muckross Road, this highly acclaimed guest house boasts a wonderful location just 10 minutes’ walk from Killarney town centre.

Despite being so close to the town centre, the house also enjoys the serenity and beauty of the nearby National Park and lakes, making it an ideal base for hill walking in County Kerry and the south west region. Went with my two sisters and Mum to celebrate her 80th. She had lived in Killarney in her 20s and kept saying how much she wished she could go back - but she doubted she ever would now. So we made it happen. It couldn’t have been more perfect. Wonderful property, fabulous staff and our family room - which slept four was light, spacious and spotlessly clean. We didn’t want a chain for this special visit. We wanted something more personal and from communication before we arrived, to the exceptional staff that served breakfast, to the guy behind the front desk, we were made to feel special. And talking of the breakfast, it was truly spectacular! We loved the scones and the porridge particularly 🤗 Thank you for a truly memorable few days.

The Enchanted Forest Fairytale Museum is 18 km from the bed and breakfast. Kerry Airport is 56 km away. We like the location and the staff also kindly put our two rooms together, based on our request. We traveled as a family and it was really convenient to have the 2 rooms on the ground floor, next to each other. check in and check out was fast and convenient too. Overall, we had a good rest .

Boasting pool with a view and views of mountain, Winterwood is a recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in Listowel, 26 km from Kerry County Museum. The bed and breakfast features a spa experience, with its sauna, hot tub and steam room. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Everything was perfect 👌

This was my favourite stay in all of Ireland, and I stayed at 5 different B&Bs. Absolutely recommend. The location, the hosts, the food, the comfort and the facilities.
