The Rooms At Firecastle is set in Kildare's market square, overlooking St Brigid's Cathedral. The property offers an onsite bakery, an artisan grocery store and a take away breakfast and lunch served daily. Fantastic place in all aspects, absolutely nothing to complain about! We had an issue with the codes upon checking in but the team was super responsive when called. Rooms are super lovely, clean and comfortable. Water and tea and coffee machine is provided. All comforts in the room.

Whitewater Shopping Centre, the Curragh Racecourse and Newbridge Silverware are less than a 10 minute drive away. Quiet location. Staff were lovely. Beautifully decorated

Each unit has a dishwasher, microwave, a coffee machine, as well as a toaster and kettle. With a private bathroom fitted with a walk-in shower and a hair dryer, units at the guest house also feature free WiFi. At the guest house, units are fitted with bed linen and towels. Kerry was a great host. Checking us in at around 8.30pm. The accomodation was very well presented. (2) rooms with ensuites adjoining a common area “Hadyns Bar” between rooms which provided privacy. Excellent facilities of alcoholic beverages and soft drinks at modest prices on an honesty system. Light breakfast was also provided in the way of Toast, Cereals, Yoghurt and Fresh milk. 🙂. Tea and coffee also. Haydns bar had TV, pool table and dart board. The property is in a semi pastoral area, well positioned, a short distance from the township where there is a few eating places and a LIDL supermarket.

It is set 9.3 km from Kildare Town Heritage Centre and offers a housekeeping service. The bed and breakfast features family rooms. Everything was nice, it's a pity we only spent one night there.

Friendly host and everything was good quality.

Staff are welcoming and friendly. Rooms are perfectly clean, beds comfortable, very nice and quiet. Great location, handy to everyone. It was my second time at Athgarvan B&B and I will come back again. Highly recommended.

The guest house offers a seating area with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a hair dryer, free toiletries and walk-in shower. At the guest house, units include bed linen and towels. The room and bathroom were beautifully decorated. The shared lounge is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. We didn't interact with staff in person but Rachel sent helpful instructions about the property and everything was clear. It is not easy to spot the entrance from the road, so use the Eircode provided.

The units have a private bathroom, while selected rooms will provide you with a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave.

A baby safety gate is also available at the bed and breakfast, while guests can also relax in the garden. Loved the woods next to the house! Great place for walking and exploring. The whole setup was just perfect for the family. Host was exceptional and lovely to talk to. Breakfast was great. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious.
