The Rooms At Firecastle is set in Kildare's market square, overlooking St Brigid's Cathedral. Fantastic place in all aspects, absolutely nothing to complain about! We had an issue with the codes upon checking in but the team was super responsive when called. Rooms are super lovely, clean and comfortable. Water and tea and coffee machine is provided. All comforts in the room.

Silken Thomas Accommodation offers accommodation in the center of Kildare Town. It was abeautiful stay in a lovely historical town.

The accomodation was very well presented. (2) rooms with ensuites adjoining a common area “Hadyns Bar” between rooms which provided privacy. Excellent facilities of alcoholic beverages and soft drinks at modest prices on an honesty system. Light breakfast was also provided in the way of Toast, Cereals, Yoghurt and Fresh milk. 🙂. Tea and coffee also. Haydns bar had TV, pool table and dart board. The property is in a semi pastoral area, well positioned, a short distance from the township where there is a few eating places and a LIDL supermarket.

Great view from the cottage where we stayed. The cottage was very clean, comfortable & well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Enjoyed the selection of DVDs in the evenings. We had a wonderful breakfast at the main house on two mornings. Mary is a wonderful hostess. Also really enjoyed learning about the milking and farm operation. Short drive into town.

Loved the woods next to the house! Great place for walking and exploring. The whole setup was just perfect for the family. Host was exceptional and lovely to talk to. Breakfast was great. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious.
