Maria was very friendly and helpful. Cereals, different snacks and tea bags, etc. were always ready. During my trip throughout Ireland, I spent the most time here relaxing in the room because I missed being inside as an introvert. It felt so nice just laying in bed, hugging the soft blanket, drinking hot tea, and watching YouTube on the smart TV! They provided three towel sizes (bath towel, hair towel, face towel), and most surprisingly imo a jar of q-tips!!

Clear instructions about late check in. No surprises. Johnny was a tremendous host. Full of great information. The property is delightful. Very peaceful. Lovely location. The room was perfect. Super clean and everything in perfect working order. I would absolutely recommend this to all travellers with a vehicle.

At the guest house, each unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. The place was very clean and comfortable. My room was cosy, plenty of space, very comfortable bed and a nice clean bathroom . The view was great, I could see the Cliffs and when lying in bed the window above was nice to look into the sky and even to hear the rain. The common room downstairs was also very comfortable. There was all sorts of different tea and coffee and also cornflakes which I didn't expect to be there. A nice table to have your breakfast and a chat with the other guests who stayed there. And 2 nice comfy chairs to relax and have a coffee after a nice walk. When I went downstairs on Sunday there were freshly baked scones on the counter what a nice surprise, they were yummy and put a smile on my face. There are also tables outside on the terrace to enjoy a nice lunch or just relax on a beautiful sunny day. I have to say I liked everything in Lane Lodge and Teresa the host is very welcoming and friendly and likes to have a chat and will answer all the questions you have about Doolin and the area. And I met the 2 little dogs who live there and they were super nice. Also the location is perfect, close to the pier, you can walk to the Cliffs from here and pubs and restaurants are near by for a nice meal and drink if you fancy one. I left very happy and relaxed, and will come back for sure.

It is located 3.2 km from Doolin Cave and provides full-day security. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. If you're looking for an authentic family-run B&B experience, this is the gold standard. I travel often due to work - and I've had the privilege to stay in so many places all over the world (Japan, Estonia, Malta, Portugal, South Korea, Germany, USA etc etc etc). Churchfield is going to hold a special place in my heart. My big mistake was not booking more nights in this lovely place! (if you end up feeling the same way, just ask them if they have extra rooms available). Aoiefa and her family has taken so much trouble to make you as comfortable as possible - it's all the little things from the tea & coffee in the room, the hot water bottle, the thoughtfully provided toiletries etc. The breakfast was delicious and the hospitality was warm & inviting. You can tell they love their guests, they are passionate about what they do, and hospitality is what they are all about. The location is excellent for an adventure to the Cliffs of Moher, and the Aran Islands. Not to mention that across & along the street you can walk to Irish pubs with trad music (even though we were there in an off season). All in all it was a memorable stay.
