The first contact before my arrival was very supportive and fast. When I arrived, a very happy and friendly woman welcomed us, gave us the most comfortable option and always helped us whatever we needed. Location is perfect, close to the center and Mahabodhi Temple. Room is full of light.

We had an amazing stay here, the staff was very friendly and the project that they are supporting with over 700 students to change their local community is inspiring. We left inspired by the children who have been given an opportunity due to the amazing work of the staff here. It was very nice to see and speak with the children during our stay. Two big thumbs up. Additionally, the took great care of us to help organize tours, help us send a package with the India Post, and organize other sightseeing during our stay. We will stay there again and I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a local authentic experience with people making a true change in their community.

Shahi House situa-se em Bodh Gaya, a 6 minutos a pé de Templo Mahabodhi e a 400 m de Bodh Gaya Bus Station. Overall facility and vibes. Very cheerful and helpful owner. At a walking distance to Mahabodhi temple. Just an awesome experience to stay in the shahi house.

We krishna kumar from Vasundhra Ghaziabad along with my wife and son (3) persons stayed at New city Guest House for a short period of two (2) days from 9-10th May 2025 and the said stay was pleasant with all facility available (Good quality very tasty Food, washing the clothes, 24 hours un-interrupted AC services, housekeeping facility etc.) and moreover the all the staffs were very well supporting to feel very amazing stay

Probably our best stay in all of India! We arrived in Gaya on the train after 3am. Sumit the owner waited for us to arrive and helped us navigate with our tuk tuk driver from the station. The location is walking distance to restaurants and temples. Room was.perfectly clean, and the AC was great! I would recommend for single travelers or couples. If you want to experience the local culture while supporting a good cause, this is the place to do so! We felt very welcome in the family and as we visited during the festival we got taken along to all the ceremonies the festival entails. This was a truly unique experience which we are very happy to have been a part of. Furthermore the guesthouse is next to the school it supports so you can easily pay a visit there too. The place is just outside of town, so this gives some peace from the busy city. But it can be reached easily by tuktuk (although you might need to help a bit with the navigation) from the temple area of bodh gaya. The guesthouse serves a simple but delicious breakfast and dinner as well as an assortment of hot drinks. Beds are basic but comfortable, so is the shower with reliable hot water. The guesthouse can also arrange other touristic excursions or transportation with a good driver and comfortable car. They are however not the cheapest option in this category.
