The area is surprisingly quiet and walkable for Delhi. As a solo woman traveler, I felt very safe walking around at 9pm at night. There are nice restaurants within walking distance, and the staff, particularly Bani, are a huge help with recommendations for both restaurants and tourist things to do. I really loved this area as a launching point for exploring other parts of Delhi and would highly recommend!

The food was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. The cheese was exceptionally good in the omlettes. If you are into birding this is the only place you should consider. Both the host and his father are orinthologists willing to share their knowledge and books. They arranged for Raja to be our tuk tuk driver both in and out of the park. We spent 9 hrs in the park exploring which happened so quickly resulting in us seeing 62 species of birds. Outside the park Raja knew where to go and we saw more.

The staff and the owner were both very warm and the stay was a memorable one because of this one factor among many advantages like the proximity to the metro station and the overall comfort.

Couldn't recommend this place more. Great location near the bird reserve, a lovely space - a pretty colourful building, comfy dining area and rooftop. The room is comfortable and well equipped. The team there are so helpful, organised and friendly. We hired bikes for the day which was great. Also the food is the best we've had in India so far - really home made and tasty. Thank you!
