Featuring a restaurant and cafe on site, Blabjorg Resort is in the fishing village of Borgarfjordur Eystri, 71 km from Egilsstadir. The guest house is spottless and welcoming. Our room was the last one (Number 11 or 12, can't remember) and being on the corner It has 2 windows with a lot of light. There are 3 huge toilets with showers, very clean and organized. We didn't use the shared living room and kitchen but they seemed tò be very comfortable. You Need tò leave the shoes at the guesthouse entrance (Icelandic habit) so Better have comfy shoes tò put on/off. breakfast was Amazing. Both restaurants and rooms are very very hot (we were here in August) so better dress in layers.

Jokla Guesthouse is a newly renovated modern facility. Everything is beyong my expectation when looking for an accommodation nearby the canyon. We love the decor and warmth of this place.

Everything tbh - we were too tired after a hike to Studlagil. When we entered the property, met Elsa and checked in, I think the energy returned. The hot tub & sauna was a gift to my tired legs. Kitchen to room, everything was designed thoughtfully from a barn to a homestay and well equipped. Jfyi, the shower is common - but very big, spacious and clean. Hence it would not be an issue. If weather is nice and you are lucky, you may get to see some auroras too like us 😊

The little patio area in front was so nice since we were blessed with a beautiful day. Sitting outside with a coffee and watching and listening to the birds in the meadow right outside was delightful. We had been in Bakkagerdi earlier in the evening to view the puffins (1 million stars/10 on that experience) and this was the perfect place to spend the night, since it was less than an hour from there but also gave us a little bit of a head start on our clockwise ring road journey for the next day's travels.

Great and quiet location. Comfortable for a group 6 with 3 bedrooms, 2 WC with 1 shower. Well equipped kitchen and nice comfortable living room to relax before bed. Since it’s part of the ranch, we got greeted with sheep in the morning!

Set in a characteristic wooden house, Við Lónið Guesthouse is an accommodation in Seyðisfjörður. This guesthouse was my best stay during the trip. Amazing location, view, amenities and layout. It was a beautiful room. It was better than the fancier/pricier hotels that I stayed in.

It felt like it was renovated recently since everything looked brand-new. If it wasn't, then they do a great job keeping the rooms pristine! The beds and pillows were comfortable, the bathroom was big and clean, and the kitchen had enough utensils for anything we needed to prepare. Overall, one of the best stays we had in Iceland.

Beautiful room with a warm atmosphere. There was a water shut down in town. The staff were immediately there for us and the whole episode was sorted out within less than an hour

Fjalladýrð Guesthouse có khu vườn, phòng chờ chung, nhà hàng và quầy bar ở Modrudalur. Ngoài dịch vụ tiền sảnh, chỗ nghỉ này còn có sân chơi trẻ em. What a location!!! Unique. Very atmospheric, good restaurant, very cool and accommodating staff. Fellow travellers were really awed when we arrived.

Lyngás Guesthouse is located by Route 1 in Egilsstadir, East Iceland. It offers free parking, a shared kitchen and basic rooms with free WiFi. The kitchen is enormous, very comfortable. Good facilities in general
