The highlight of our trip! Our host was an incredibly warm and welcoming woman that made us feel right at home. The breakfast is homemade, delicious and varied. The accommodation is beautiful and you can tell a lot of thought was put into it. Can't recommend this place enough!

This adorable guest house felt like home! It is owned by a wonderful Bavarian family and had all the usual charms of an Alpine Family inn, with the added charm of traditional Icelandic touches. Breakfast was lovely and it felt so peaceful in the valley where it is located. I hope to come back with my parents in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay at this place. The room was perfect for three people — very clean, comfortable, and the bathroom was absolutely beautiful. The host was very kind and went out of his way to provide us with forks, spoons, and a can opener so we could have our meal in the room. We really appreciated the thoughtfulness and hospitality. Would definitely recommend this place!
