They really share their own home and soul with their guests. It was extremely an pleasant and unique experience.

The location of the Owl apartment was perfect for our long day on the Snaefellsnes peninsula. The apartment was furnished with everything we needed. Cute owls watched over our rest all night. The owner has put so much care into furnishing and decorating this little apartment. We had a huge private bathroom with towel warming rack and toiletries. There is a small table with two chairs, and a coffee machine with a variety of coffee, teas, and hot chocolate provided, along with plates, mugs, and utensils, and a small fridge for our groceries. The bed is so comfy and the neighborhood is quiet so we had a relaxing rest. Our schedule did not give us time to enjoy our private fenced outdoor garden area with seating. The communication with the owner was excellent, and information for self check-in was sent well in advance. We even had a convenient parking space right in front. If we are ever in Iceland again, we'll definitely stay at the Owl apartment.

The view is beautiful, it was a great first night in Iceland , thank you ☺️
