The family-run Guesthouse 1x6 is in the old part of Keflavík, a 7-minute drive from Keflavik International Airport and a 20-minute drive from the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa. It offers free WiFi and its own geothermal hot pool. A delicious home made breakfast that was healthy and tasty. Included a slice of rhubarb pie that is a family recipe from Andi’s mom back in Sweden. They offered slippers to wear around indoors, and sandals to wear outdoors. So much chilled water available in a small fridge. A very clean bathroom and shower with nice amenities. All of that was great, but having pleasant hosts was much needed, unexpected and a delight.

The host left us snack as gestuire.

Raven’s Bed & Breakfast is a converted traditional cow house which has been renovated into a unique guest house. The original wooden beams and certain decorative items remain from its past. Just 7 minutes’ drive from Keflavík International Airport, this B&B features an outdoor hot tub and a furnished terrace. WiFi and parking are free. The design of the house is amazing, it’s classic design with modern furnitures mixed. Has got everything we meeded. Kitchen that we could use however we want. Hot bath tub to chill. Dish washer. Big fridge with full of foods that we can grab anytime. Two big clean bathrooms. The maid was so friendly and nice. The view is amazing as well. I can’t really say anything bad about this hotel. Absouletly recommended for everybody.
