The location of the gastahaus is amazing for anyone that would like to enjoy the natural landscape and relax. The people working there are very polite and helpful. The rooms were cosy and very clean. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to visit the dolomites, the surrounding villages and Bolzano city.

We could see the cows grazing in the meadow and hear their bells softly ringing. The location of the hotel was in Castel Rotto, a charming alpine village.

Offering an à la carte restaurant, Gasthof zum Schlern is located 3 km from the Alpe di Siusi Cable Car Station and 3 km from Fié allo Sciliar. Everything is great. Room is spacious with a view and balcony. They also have a restaurant which the price is very reasonable. Breakfast is basic with breads, hams and cheese, but in good quality.

Situated in Castelrotto, within the Sciliar-Catinaccio Nature Park, the family run Residence Trocker offers Alpine-style apartments and rooms with a balcony. The breakfast was really good and great options. The owners were always there and very helpful. There was a real community vibe going on in the evening in the bar with locals and tourists joining in playing card games. Highly recommend a sauna and steam anfter a spin on the slopes.
