The room was large with plenty of storage and a balcony with views to the mountains was an enticing place to sit and enjoy the views. Everything was clean and the bed very comfortable. Even the towels were nice amd fluffy, a nice change from whey you usually get. The location is perfect. The 170 bus runs regularly from a stop no more than 200m away and that runs into town and to Bozen. There’s also lovely views from nearby so even if you’re having a relaxing day there’s plenty to see right nearby. All in all it was a great place to base yourself to explore the Dolomites

The breakfast buffet was the best we’ve ever had. The dinner service was a gourmet delight. All the guests were eager to sample the wonderful food! The view from our room was lovely. We could see the cows grazing in the meadow and hear their bells softly ringing. The location of the hotel was in Castel Rotto, a charming alpine village.

Our room & bathroom was fantastic and all one needs as you will be out enjoy the mountains and scenery. We loved having the balcony and the view was breathtaking. Roman is very welcoming and made sure we had all we needed as well as answered any questions we had about the area.

Offering an à la carte restaurant, Gasthof zum Schlern is located 3 km from the Alpe di Siusi Cable Car Station and 3 km from Fié allo Sciliar. It was my second stay in Gasthof zum Schlern, and it is very cozy as usual. We enjoyed our stay, and would return here again, everything is clean, and they decorate the house very cute according to ongoing celebrations.
