Property was absolutely amazing, comfy, big (bigger than expected and perfect for our needs). The balcony addition was perfect to enjoy some wine in the warm afternoons. But the best thing about the property was the staff!!! we were treated like loyalty ❤️ we received a surprise little breakfast, we were given a lot of recommandations for what to do around, best food, how much we should pay for the boat trips so we arent scammed and much! Communication was PERFECT and we were helped with ANY request we had. We are truly grateful. The cleaning staff did an absolutely great job and were so attentive to all details. We even felt bad leaving the room a mess the second day seeing the efforts. Perfect location, the best restaurants of Cala Ganone just a few minutes away. For what it offers, the price was great. Way above the conditions we had in Olbia for twice the money!!!

Situated within 700 metres of Spiaggia Centrale and 26 km of Gorroppu Gorge, Affittacamere Casa del Sole features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Cala Gonone. With mountain views, this accommodation provides a balcony. The guest house has family rooms. Very well located - a walking distance to the center (~7 minutes) and beaches (~15 minutes). The host, Gabriella, is exceptional - very friendly, helpful. There are 4 rooms in the house: two on the ground floor and two on the 1st floor. If it’s possible - book a room on the 1st floor, from there you can enjoy a nice view to the sea:) the House/ Cala Gonone is surrounded by pine trees - healthy and nice! You’ll definitely have a nice rest here!

Dorgali was our jumping-off point to visit villages in the “blue zone” (see Netflix documentary of same name). Our host Lucia was excellent and available by phone and text as well as hosting breakfast personally. Her English is very good and she was able to give us tips on visiting the area. We like meeting our hosts in person. Breakfast was a classic buffet in the common area, with a meat / cheese plate, yoghurt and granola and local pastries from the pasticceria down the street. We were able to park directly in front of the apartment. As a bonus, we met Lucia’s dad and had some of his homemade red wine (which was very good). There is a very large patio on two sides of the apartment where we were able to wash our clothes at the self-service laundromat and put them out a drying rack for the day. The apartment is very clean and modern, recently renovated. Mattress was very good. There is a full grocery store at the roundabout within a five-minute walk of the apartment.

The rooms were spotless, modern, and very well equipped, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect—very close to all the main attractions on the east coast of the island, yet peaceful and relaxing. Antonella was extremely professional and responsive, promptly answering all our questions and fulfilling every request. It’s clear that the property is well cared for, and guest satisfaction is a top priority. We highly recommend Mariposa Guesthouse and would definitely stay here again!

The palazzo itself, a renovated old family home is beautifully renovated, comfortable, clean, with very tasty breakfast and very attentive, authentic and polite staff. Located in dorgali, not far from hiking spots or the sea with magnificent beaches (15min car ride)
