I love the location of this place; indeed, it was a fantastic place where we stayed, imposing. I loved the clear communication with the hosts. A 20% discount at the restaurant Tomasseo was a grand gesture, and the food and wine served were excellent. We love Trieste in every sense; it is a city where history still whispers, making it an entirely cosmopolitan place. I am saying that because Cafe degli Specchi, where breakfast is served, is one of those places where you feel that vibe. Excellent stay; if available again, it would definitely be our choice.

A supermarket is available 50 meters away. The host, Vanessa, was one of the best hosts I have ever met! She was so kind and helpful! The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable and very homey. We searched for weeks to find a safe, clean apartment to stay in for one night, close to the Cruise Port, and after reading all the negative reviews, we found this one with No Negative reviews. The apartment is better than the photos and the hosts/owners were the best! On line it says there's a Queen bed in the bedroom, but we happily found it to be a King size. The owners helped us with our many bags of luggage, cuz we are in our mid 70's with a bad back and knees. Also, because we can't walk far, Ms. Stefania, drove us to town for a romantic dinner...how special is that! There was coffee, tea, a continental breakfast, etc. there for us. Most of all, the large covered terrace overlooking the sea was spectacular!!! We could live out there...the views are absolutely breathtaking. We wish we could have stayed longer... Having wonderful, warm, friendly owners live in the same building, is so very helpful!! We Guarantee you will be so happy you chose this special apartment, Trieste Sea Life, to stay in, like we did!
