We are in a great location — only 5 minutes on foot from Itsukushima Shrine and Daisho-in Temple, and 15 minutes from the Mt. Misen trail entrance.

In the shared lounge, you can enjoy Japanese cultural experiences like calligraphy and origami, and meet people from all over the world. We love the Miyajima guest house, the staff was super friendly, the location was great, the common areas were beautiful! We also really enjoyed the dinner and breakfast. Overall the only negative was that we only stayed one night, would love to come back and stay at least two nights in the future. ❤️

We booked two rooms for our family of four. We were pleasantly surprised how spacious they were, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The host was incredibly kind, he suggested the best places to eat and buy locally produced lemon pastries, and when we were leaving, he brought his cat, Tiger, and waved goodbye to us. As we were on a three-day bike trip and only had our small backpacks with us, we loved the fact that everything was provided: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, tooth brushes, toothpaste, mouth wash, etc. In each room there were even a couple of bottles of water and everything for making tea and coffee. In the common spaces there was a microwave, guidebooks, manga books, and a wall full of Toso Maps of the Shimanami Kaido trail. We will definitely book Bed&Cafe Onzo again next time we bike the Shimanami Kaido!

It was very hot so a/c had difficulty keeping up but small issue for us. Great staff who served us a delicious breakfast which was included.

It was a very clean property with spacious Japanese style rooms. An incredible host who drove us several times to where we needed to be. He was very accommodating and made sure we had a comfortable stay. Perfect place to stay when doing the Shimanami Kaido.
