They speak English and take care of their guests as family. 2 wonderful private onsen. Beautiful hike along the river just behind the hotel. Just remember this is bear country so sing your way through the hike.

Everything was neat and clean and the owner of the place offered us some treats to celebrate our honey moon! Mattress was the best I had in Japan. Shower was spacious. Really enjoyed everything.

Japanese Modern Inn Kamakura Rakuan Hanare---3min walk from Hase Station ligger i Kamakura, 1 minutters gang fra Kamakura Yuigahama Strand, og har en bar samt gratis wi-fi overalt. A spacious traditional room. We had an incredibly comfortable sleep on the futons. Delicious traditional breakfast. 3 minutes to the beach and surfers. Nearby are coffee shops with excellent coffee. A very hospitable host.

Really excellent place. I was very well looked after by the host. It didn't feel like a guest house. It felt like a home.

The room was bright and clean, and the private onsen was amazing. There is a kitchen and a shared space where you can experience a traditional Japanese kotatsu. Everything was great except that the property is located on a hill, so you have to climb to reach nearby places. The road was very slippery on snowy days, and we almost slipped several times. I would not recommend this place for travelers with elderly people or young children.

COZY Inn Free Shuttle service ligger i Nikko, 11 km fra Nikko Station, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og gratis privat parkering. Overnatningsstedet ligger ca. Hiro is amazing, and we loved Marie the assistant! I can not recommend a stay at cozy inn enough. We loved our stay.

Guesthouse Imaichi ゲストハウス今市マチナカ ligger i Nikko, 7,7 km fra Nikko Station og 8,1 km fra Tōbu Nikkō Station. Værelserne har aircondition og et fælles badeværelse. We were in the private room, which was very nicely furnished and had everything you need. It had functional lamps with different light settings, a wide wardrobe with space for luggages, and multiple plugs for charging devices. The beds were SO comfy and the duvet was so fluffy it felt like being in a cloud. The guesthouse had everything you need, in the kitchen there is equipment to cook and the owner has thought about every small detail about what you may possibly need! The shared toilet and showers were very clean. Location wise it is only 1 stop away from the main Nikko center, so in 10 min you arrive to Tobu Nikko station from where you can start exploring the UNESCO site or take busses to natural excursions. I would totally recommend!
