The property has sea and mountain views, and is 33 km from Shuzen-ji Temple. The guest house features family rooms. The manager is super nice and everything is exceptionally clean. The shared kitchen/living room has a beautiful ocean view and a lot of equipment and free iced tea in the fridge. The private onsen is also very nice, also with an ocean view. It can be reserved for free, you just have to pay the small onsen tax.

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. Please pay in cash or by card upon check-in. Guests under 12 years old are exempt from the lodging tax. Calm, nice peaceful vibes, everything was perfect. Epic showers.

We were being late since we missed a train in Koyasan, but owners waited for us. They are really warm and friendly. We got really great advice for restaurants. Room was nice and comfortable and clean. There is a bath, not just shower and also a washing machine. To the center it is only a short walk. We book a place with breakfast option and I really recommend it! Cucumbers and tomatoes were grown by owners! And food was delicious! They are such a nice team!!!

Our room, Sengen Noma included two bedrooms (each with two queen beds), a lovely kitchen, and a dining area.

It is situated 13 km from Fudarakusanji Temple and features luggage storage space. The guest house provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. excellent location, everything is in walking distance, and is a Japanese style room, the boss is very nice, help you everything in your trip.

At the guest house, all units have bed linen and towels. The monk who runs the property was so helpful recommending local restaurants and giving advice and even gave us a lift to the station. There were free drinks including alcohol. The rooms are part of a temple. The hotel is very close to the main shrine and not far from the station so a great location. The place to stay in Shingu. Good value for money.
